Varanasi is a city on the Ganges river in northern India, with a central place in the traditions of pilgrimage, death and mourning in the Hindu world. My piece for piano reflects an influence of Indian classical music.

'Le Parfum du bleu' - BBC Radio 3 Unwind broadcasts - 2025 to 2026 'Le Parfum du bleu' is my second album of piano music, released in 2024 on Bandcamp.
The album moves through the seasons from summer to winter, with a balance of jazz freedom and classical restraint.
The album's second track 'Le Jardinier' was selected for 'The Sleeping Forecast' on BBC Sounds. 'Le Jardinier' has received 9 broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 Unwind since April 2025.
Music written in memory of my parents. An emotional response to family photographs from 1970, looking back in time to another garden, to another snowfall, where we are always together, a time there was.

A land of snow pierced by the Svalbard Global Seed Vault, with a Noah's Ark role, buried in a mountain covered by permafrost.
The images merge the idea of a seed with transformed versions of the extraordinary mountain top geometric telecommunications domes, near the town of Longyearbyen.
